Faten Hani

Faten Hani is the Chief of Staff to Al Ahli Group and a member of the board team.Prior to this role, Faten was the Chief Executive Officer of DIFC Centre of Excellence, the home of top international universities, business schools, executive education and professional development organisations.Prior to that, Faten has been the Chief Human Capital Officer at the Dubai International Financial Centre since its very inception in 2002. DIFC is a financial free zone designed to create a unique financial services cluster in the Middle East. Her role was to look after developing and managing the DIFC Human Capital.Her specialty lies in talent management and development, having worked in the Middle East in the filed of human resources development and the finance industry for the last 15 years. Prior to joining the DIFC, Faten worked as a Development and Training Project Manager for the National Human Resources Development Authority in the UAE. She created specific strategic development plans suited for the Nationalisation Strategy of the UAE Federal Government. Working in cohesion with the UAE Government’s thrust towards decreasing unemployment amongst UAE Nationals; Faten has vigorously trained the Nationals, preparing them for various vocations. Faten has also served as a Quality Development Manager in HSBC, where she created and implemented various development and training programmes related to Change Management to implement the HSBC Global new strategy focusing on Service Excellence, attitude in the workplace and total quality management for HSBC Bank Middle East across the region.Faten acts as a mentor for young graduates and workers in the UAE, and is the Chairperson of the Business Advisory Committee of the Higher Colleges of Technology in the UAE and a member of the Business Advisory Group at IMD Business School in Switzerland. She is also an active member of the Young Arab Leaders Organisation.Faten Hani is a postgraduate degree holder in Business Management from the UAE University, a Certified Trainer and a lead TQM Assessor.
